At Armageddon Expo a week and a half ago I took a bunch of zombified portrait commissions. Getting really sick straight after Armageddon has meant i got to a delayed start to the drawings, but here is the first (and the second is not far away)! :)

I'm up to my elbows in black ink :)

I am currently throwing down the ink with reckless abandon for the story i am doing for Decay issue 10. thought i would give you all a sneak peek at it. Click on the image for a larger version.

The last zombie(s)

I've been absent from the blogging landscape for a while, but i have quote a bit of new work to show off, so i'll try and make some more frequent updates over the next couple of weeks.

First, i want to show off the final two zombie portraits i did. I can safely say that i left the best till last, and thank mark and liv for their patience :) I am relatively free for commissions at the moment, so if you want to get zombified, drop me a line.

Here are some more zombified commissions i have done. I feel like they are getting better and better every time. The first one is one of my fave's so far. Its just such a strong bold illustration.

I think this next one turned out pretty well too. I still wonder if i shoud have left the background white or made it red instead, just to increase the contrast of the image.




I am trying to get more and more inventive with the kind of mutilations I am getting these zombies to do to each other, particularly in group drawings like below.

I've been busy. Very busy.

Since Melbourne Supanova a couple of weeks ago, i have been drawing like crazy doing zombified portraits. I thought i would post a few of the better ones here for you all to see.

Covering The Dirt Nap

I thought i would give you a first look at the cover for The Dirt Nap, a full colour 28pg comic launching at Supanova in Melbourne (at the showgrounds) on Saturday April 9. I have a booth at Supanova and will be there all day Saturday 9th April and Sunday 10th April, so come on down and say hi (and buy a copy of The Dirt Nap).

Parting with Loneliness

Today, in anticipation of tomorrow nights book launch, i am giving you a final look at some of my illustrations from 'The Loneliness Manifesto'. There are many more illustrations in the finished book and I encourage all of you to grap a copy.

It will be available at the launch this Saturday Night (Feb 19). That's tomorrow! as part of the event 'Big-Arse Comic Launch no. 1' at

Here is another piece from the fourthcoming picto-graphic book, 'The Loneliness Manifesto', written by James Andre and published by Milk Shadow Books. This is probably one of the best stories in the book and paints a picture of a man who has never felt more alone...

The brilliant Andrew Issac has coloured another page of the comic 'Chalx' which i illustrated for Black Glass Press. This will be published in colour in the forthcoming comic 'The Dirt Nap'.
